Pet’s Name: Crawford

Breed: Snowshoe Siamese

Age: 2

Gender: Male

About the pet:  Affectionate and curious

Why are you re-homing your pet? Crawford showed up in our backyard several weeks ago. I took him to my Vet but he was not microchipped. We posted pics on lost and found sites but nobody claimed him. If not for the many cats we have already we would take him into our home because he is incredibly sweet and loving. He will need a trip to the Vet for shots and a bath!

Pet’s Name: Nova

Breed: Domestic American Long hair

Age: 7.5

Gender: Female

About the pet:  She is very playful, talkative, and loves to be around you. Her yellow eyes make anyone melt. She wants to sleep next to you if you let her, and enjoys purring on your lap.

Why are you re-homing your pet? I travel often/work a lot and I cannot give her time and care anymore unfortunately. She is alone, bored, and lives indoors only. I feel like my not being home to care for her is causing her to scratch & lick herself compulsively. I cut her long hair to minimize from dander getting stuck on the base of her fur. This & more care helps tremendously.

Pet’s Name: Sinine

Breed: Pit bull mix

Age: 7

Gender: Female

About the pet: Sinine is a beautiful, fun-loving, laid back girl. She is very loyal and loves spending time cuddling. Sinine is crate trained and gets along with other male dogs;however Sinine is older and prefers her male counterpart to be laid back like her. Sinine would do best in a quiet home where she can relax and spend time with her owner.

Why are you re-homing your pet? It is with a heavy heart that I'm needing to rehome my dogs; however my recent schedule change which has required a lot of traveling has not afforded me the time that she deserves. I feel it unjust to keep her when I know there is someone else who could provide her with the loving home and time she deserves.

Pet’s Name: Sarge

Breed: Pit bull/Bulldog mix

Age: 2 yrs.

Gender: Male

About the pet:  Sarge is a handsome, loyal fun loving "teddy bear" that loves to cuddle and play. He is good with other female dogs and would do great in a home with children over 5, since he is stocky and at times forgets he's not a lap dog. Sarge is crate trained, and an all around great dog.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  It is with a heavy heart that I am posting my dogs; however with my recent schedule change which has required a lot of traveling I haven't had the time he deserves. I feel like trying to keep him is unjust when I know there is a family that could give him the time he deserves.

Breed: Tabby

Age: 6

Gender: Female

About the pet: Loves belly rubs, gives kisses, will cuddle you day and night. Lola is also a special needs cat. She has feline stomatitis (dental disease) that makes eating painful, even though we had many of her teeth extracted. She also has depression from being abandoned by her former owners. This sweet girl just desperately needs someone to love her.

Why are you re-homing your pet? I rescued her, tried to help her but I am not allowed to have more than 2 cats. It was a situation where she was going to get euthanized and I wanted to save her, so I did but now I'm facing eviction if I choose to keep her.

Pet’s Name: Snuggles

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 9

Gender: Male

About the pet:  Snuggles is playful and an affectionate little love bug. When he wants your attention, he has a really cool meow that sounds like he's saying "hello"! He's neutered and has never sprayed or had any litterbox problems.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  He keeps attacking my smaller cat and we've had to keep him separated. He was brought into the home when we got custody of my soon to be stepson. We didn't know that he was going to have such an issue with other cats. He's fine with dogs, but as soon as he sees my cat just attacks. We thought time would fix the issue, but it hasn't.

Pet’s Name: Roxy

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 3

Gender: Female

About the pet: Roxy is a fun and loving cat born in Southern California. She is affectionate and likes to be near people. She enjoys playing with the laser light and string toys. She is a smaller cat and loves to be carried. She’s very talkative when you’re talking to her. She’s easy to manage; you can dress her up and cut her nails with no issue. Roxy is a little shy and will most likely hide when there are more than a few strangers around. She gets along with other pets and has never had an issue around kids. She doesn’t care for the outdoors and will not try to leave the house, although she may want a peek. She uses the litter box and scratches the cardboard scratchers.

Why are you re-homing your pet? Roxy needs more attention than we can give. She would do very well with a family and/or home with other pets. Roxy has begun chewing cords in the house, we suspect mostly due to attention (or lack of). We are concerned because we have a house FULL of electronics and we are worried about her safety if she were to chew on a high voltage cord. She has chewed about 6-10 cords in the last 2-3 years.

Pet’s Name: Archie

Breed: Harrier Mix

Age: 1

Gender: Male

About the pet: Archie is the most positive, happy dog I've ever met. I love the way he loves going on runs with me, how eager (and quick!) he is to learn new tricks, and of course, his absolutely adorable face.

Why are you re-homing your pet? Archie is a family dog that would love nothing more than to have a kid or two to play with and a yard to run in. Unfortunately I cannot give him what he needs. I need to travel city to city to work and he is not meant for that life. All I want for him is to flourish and be in a place where he can be his goofy, happy, playful, mushy self.

Pet’s Name: Mouse

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 3.5

Gender: Female

About the pet: Mouse loves people food, including really weird stuff like arugula and tofu, so she'd love to join you at your dinner table. She loves to sleep on me at night. She can get territorial, so she might do best as a single cat (although she gets along GREAT with her sister Tiny, below). She's fine with dogs.

Why are you re-homing your pet? We fostered Mouse (and her sister, Tiny, below) when she was 6 weeks old, and decided to keep her for as long as we could. Now we have an 10 month old baby, two dogs, and five cats. Unsurprisingly, it's not working out to have so many creatures in our home. No one gets enough attention, and the pets are stressed.

Pet’s Name: Tiny

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 3.5

Gender: Female

About the pet: Tiny is a seven-pound sweetheart with a big purr who wants to cuddle with you all day and night. Tiny is disabled due to Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a condition in which part of her brain is underdeveloped and her coordination is affected. She's pretty active and mobile given her condition, but she can't always move quickly and she falls over a lot.

Why are you re-homing your pet? We fostered Tiny (and her sister, Mouse, above) when she was 6 weeks old, and decided to keep her for as long as we could. Now we have a 10 month old baby, two dogs, and five cats. Because of her disability in particular, we are no longer the best home for Tiny. Tiny needs a much quieter and safer home.

Pet’s Name: Raja

Breed: Tabby Cat

Age: 3

Gender: Male

About the pet:   1- Extremely friendly- he will find you wherever you are, rub against your legs and talk to you constantly, shows so much love!
2- He is ok with a quiet night, laying on the foot of your bed while you relax but is just as ready for a energized night- always ready to play! Goes with the flow!

Why are you re-homing your pet?   My brother and sister-in-law moved across the country because of new job opportunities. Unfortunately they were not able to take Raja with them. It broke their hearts but the only choice was to leave him behind with me. I am barely home and don't feel like I'm giving this needy, loving little guy the amount of attention and care he deserves.

About the pet: Unselfish loyal love; a one person dog who will die for you. Follows you everywhere and is happy just to be in your company and travels well in the car.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  He doesn't get along with cats (I have 6), and he doesn't get along with my one female. He gets along with the other one though. He can stay alone, and prefers to be adoring to one, maybe two people. True to his breed, he doesn't like crowded, loud environments and should never be with children.
