Pet’s Name: CoCo Chanel

Breed: Pit bull

Age: 4-5 months approx

Gender: Female

About the pet:  I found Coco chained up outside my job almost 2 months ago. She was very skinny and frightened. However, she's very friendly, playful and energetic and has put on a lot of weight. She's great with kids but she'll do better in a home with older kids because she sometimes knocks over small ones trying to play with them.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  I took her in after I found her chained up outside my job. No one has come forward inquiring about her and there have been no lost dog sign posted outside anywhere looking for her. My kids and I have of course grown very attached to her but I already had to rehome a dog last fall because I can not afford to have one and we're gone most of the day.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  I am a college student and unfortunately I can't bring Cameron to school with me. My parents have been taking care of him but he is not getting the attention he needs and deserves. I will give his enclosure and all of his supplies to his adopter.

Pet’s Name: Gypsy

Breed: Doberman Mix

Age: 3

About the pet:  Well trained and very smart

Why are you re-homing your pet?  I am rehoming my pet because she requires more attention for some of her issues that I can't address. Pet’s Name: Luna

Breed: Coonhound

Age: 4

Gender: Female

About the pet:  Luna is a very kind and sweet dog. She is great around children and other animals. She is also completely housebroken. Luna is left alone for 4-6 hours a day and has never destroyed any of our belongings. She is all around a wonderful fur baby!

Why are you re-homing your pet?  Luna loves to play and stay active. We currently have a chain linked fence which does not seem sturdy enough to keep her safe. She escapes constantly despite our efforts to block off any open spaces. We cannot currently invest in updating our fence and do not want her to get hurt while roaming the neighborhood.

Gender: Female

About the pet:  She's a very smart, sassy, small/petite dog. She's very loveable and playful. She can act like a guard dog when seeing strangers but she wouldn't hurt a fly. She's good with other dogs and children.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  I currently started working a second job after family moved out and it's becoming harder and harder to show her the attention she deserve. She went from being surrounded by people and two other dogs to being left home for up to 12 hours a day. I feel bad and just want to give her to a loving family who can give her the time and attention she deserves.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  Ollie and his brother Rocky (below) need a place they can run and play, and sadly I can't provide that. They are bored in the one room they are only allowed in and are being destructive. If they get a home to run and play in they will be perfect cats to have!

Pet’s Name: Ben

Breed: Lab/Australian Shepherd Mix

Age: 1-2 years

Gender: Male

About the pet: Ben is such a sweet boy with a huge personality.  He loves to spend time outside- following us on mountain bikes, playing ball outside, running the trails or playing at the dog park.  He makes it very difficult to leave for work in the morning when he gives you that look, hops up on the sofa and rests his chin in your lap as you're sipping your coffee.

Why are you re-homing your pet? We rescued Ben at 14 weeks and know very little about his past.  Ben is an anxious dog who can be defensive when he gets nervous. He truly is such a sweet boy!  However, with kids in our future and his unpredictable behavior, as much as it breaks our hearts, we feel as though it would be best to find Ben another home.

Pet’s Name: Snuggles

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 9

Gender: Male

About the pet:  Snuggles is playful and an affectionate little love bug. When he wants your attention, he has a really cool meow that sounds like he's saying "hello"! He's neutered and has never sprayed or had any litterbox problems.

Why are you re-homing your pet?  He keeps attacking my smaller cat and we've had to keep him separated. He was brought into the home when we got custody of my soon to be stepson. We didn't know that he was going to have such an issue with other cats. He's fine with dogs, but as soon as he sees my cat just attacks. We thought time would fix the issue, but it hasn't.

Pet’s Name: Raja

Breed: Tabby Cat

Age: 3

Gender: Male

About the pet:   1- Extremely friendly- he will find you wherever you are, rub against your legs and talk to you constantly, shows so much love!
2- He is ok with a quiet night, laying on the foot of your bed while you relax but is just as ready for a energized night- always ready to play! Goes with the flow!

Why are you re-homing your pet?   My brother and sister-in-law moved across the country because of new job opportunities. Unfortunately they were not able to take Raja with them. It broke their hearts but the only choice was to leave him behind with me. I am barely home and don't feel like I'm giving this needy, loving little guy the amount of attention and care he deserves.

Pet’s Name: Roxy

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 3

Gender: Female

About the pet: Roxy is a fun and loving cat born in Southern California. She is affectionate and likes to be near people. She enjoys playing with the laser light and string toys. She is a smaller cat and loves to be carried. She’s very talkative when you’re talking to her. She’s easy to manage; you can dress her up and cut her nails with no issue. Roxy is a little shy and will most likely hide when there are more than a few strangers around. She gets along with other pets and has never had an issue around kids. She doesn’t care for the outdoors and will not try to leave the house, although she may want a peek. She uses the litter box and scratches the cardboard scratchers.

Why are you re-homing your pet? Roxy needs more attention than we can give. She would do very well with a family and/or home with other pets. Roxy has begun chewing cords in the house, we suspect mostly due to attention (or lack of). We are concerned because we have a house FULL of electronics and we are worried about her safety if she were to chew on a high voltage cord. She has chewed about 6-10 cords in the last 2-3 years.
