Grants Awarded to AWA

Thanks to these Granting Foundations, AWA can develop solutions that help animals and people in our community.

Animal Welfare Association is very pleased to be the recipient of several significant grants. Grant funding, along with individual donations, allows AWA to sustain its lifesaving, innovative programs to keep animals in our community safe.

Camden County Commissioners

AWA extends our gratitude to the Camden County Commissioners for their support of our pet progressive programming. By underwriting a variety of programming initiatives, the Commissioners continue to make our community stronger and healthier. They support adoption programs including Seniors for Seniors and Pets for Vets; our veterinary outreach program called Vets on Wheels, which delivers important medical care to needy pets; and family-friendly events including Paws and Feet and Bark in the Park, among others. The Commissioners continue to demonstrate their compassion and dedication to improving the lives of pets and their families, and AWA is very fortunate to have their support.

The Humane Society of the United States

We received funds to support AWA’s rapid expansion of our pet food pantry programs. The funds will help AWA continue to solicit in-kind donations of pet food, provide pet food at AWA, in the City of Camden and to several partner organizations. We are honored to help members of our community who are financially struggling due to COVID-19 care for their pets. We truly appreciate the grant from HSUS.
